I-SWEEEP Scholarship Awards
Each Scholarship winner and his/her adult sponsor is invited to attend the International Sustainable World (Energy, Engineering, & Environment) Project Olympiad in Houston, Texas. I-SWEEEP will provide all meals, lodging, and domestic transportation within Houston including transportation from and to the airport for these projects during the I-SWEEEP Fair. I-SWEEEP contestants and their adult supervisors are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the Houston area. For this reason, I-SWEEEP has allocated a budget to extend financial aid to help meet the travel expenses of eligible students.

2012 I-SWEEEP Scholarship Award Winners
GENIUS Olympiad New in 2011!
The VSSMF will select two high school projects based upon their abstracts to compete in the GENIUS Olympiad to be held at Oswego State University of New York. These projects will be selected for their excellence in one of the following GENIUS-Science categories: ecology and biodiversity, environmental quality, resources and energy, human ecology, and a special problem, oil removal from water. The winning projects will be will have to register on line. They will have a higher chance of being selected as finalists from Vermont because they have won at the VSSMF. There is a GENIUS-Arts component to this competition which others can apply for. If you believe your project fits into the above five categories and it would be competitive because it includes an outstanding conceptual design, short film, satirical illustration, digital media, or photographic media, VSSMF encourages you to register your project at the second URL below: Each Award winner and his/her adult sponsor is invited to attend the International GENIUS Olympiad at SUNY Oswego, NY, around the end of June. GENIUS Olympiad will provide all meals, lodging, and domestic transportation within Oswego for these projects. VSSMF will cover mileage to the GENIUS Olympiad.
