Seeing the Object - Binoculars & Telescopes, visit to Observatory

Students visit the observatory to see the telescope and learn about how it tracks and captures deep space images.  Interested students make plans with the observatory to attempt to photograph their Sky Path way point object.  Students should complete a weekly observation using binoculars.  Interested students can make additional observations using a telescope.

Write a brief reflection about your visit to include on your wiki page.  Include photos and other media from the visit as appropriate.  What information was pertinent to your object?  What information was interesting?  How did the visit extend your understanding of astronomy and astrophotography?  In what other ways did the visit extend your knowledge or ideas?

Create an edible model of your weekly observation to present and share with the class.
