VSSMF Outreach Services

We offer all teachers of Vermont students our outreach services.  Examples of services available are

• Classroom visit to introduce the Scientific Method, the Engineering Design Cycle or the State Science & Math Fair
• Classroom visit to do a content specific activity using the Scientific Method or the Engineering Design Cycle
• Planning time visits to develop materials or activities to use in the classroom to teach inquiry
• Professional development time visits to develop science, math or inquiry curriculum
• Professional development time visits to develop a local science & math fair, or set up local review boards for ISEF participation
• Staff or board meeting visits to introduce the State Science & Math Fair or outreach services

All our work is based on the Vermont Grade Expectations and performed by a Vermont teacher licensed in secondary math, science and social studies, with a Master of Education in curriculum and instruction, and experience teaching in Vermont schools from Kindergarten to Continuing Education.   Some additional services, including mentorships are available based on need.  Contact us for more information.
